Ways to Look Younger

7 Steps to Look Younger Instantly

I don’t know about you, but I’m not getting any younger over here. I’ve spent countless hours in the sun. So many, in fact, that I often wonder how I don’t resemble an oxidized leather handbag. BUT, only moments ago I was mistook for a 22-year-old (I’m 27) and I still get carded all the time (phew). Here is how I plan to keep it that way. Dare I miss out on a Bob Dylan name-drop opportunity here—forever young! Wait that just aged me about ten years. Whatever. Just keep reading.

Radiance transcends age! That post-exfoliating glow will go a longer way than you think.

Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow Face Scrub, $38, Sephora.com

Get over your oil-phobia and EMBRACE the FACE oil. This blend of 11 different oils is hydrating, illuminating—all of the good “atings” come into play here. Use it and sit tight while the compliments start to roll in. Then you can say things like—“oh, how did that dewy sheen get there?” And if you’re still apprehensive, you can test drive this product by avoiding the t-zone and only applying the oil to the dry spots—like around your eyes. Come on! Just try it!

This next step isn’t my favorite either, but we must wear sunscreen every day. You may ask yourself why the moisturizer that you love never seems to contain SPF, but this one does. AND it smells good AND it doesn’t feel heavy.

Every night I lather gratuitous amounts of this serum on my face and neck (don’t neglect the neck!). In what I consider to be a clear case of “don’t try this at home” don’t squeeze orange juice on your face thinking you’ll get the same effect. Use this healthy sounding vitamin C serum instead.
